Fred Scott is a BAFTA, BIFA and Grammy-nominated filmmaker based in London.
He specialises in documentary portraiture in both film and commercials.
His feature documentary, Being A Human Person was nominated for Best Documentary at the 2020 BIFA Awards.
It was also selected on the ten film longlist for Outstanding Debut at the 2021 BAFTA Film Awards and was the Critic’s Pick in the NY Times.

His most recent feature doc, London Bridge: Facing Terror, was commissioned
by Channel 4 and has just been nominated for Best Documentary at the 2024 Broadcast Awards.
Fred was selected as part of the BIFA Springboard programme for 2022, and is currently developing his next feature.
